Yesterday was Ash Wednesday. This is when Lent begins.Lent lasts for six and a half weeks.The date for Lent changes every year, that means it is a moveable feast. Lent ends on Easter Sunday when Jesus was raised for the dead. It is a time when we can give up sweets, maybe decide to help out more at home or maybe go to mass in the mornings.
